The 1st Annual International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC)

To celebrate the success of the 1st Annual International Mathematical Modeling Challenge - IM²C 2015 and the accomplishment of all participating teams, the Award Presentation Ceremony was held on July 5 2015 at the University of Hong Kong. This was a fest for students and teachers. Students, teachers, principals and parents from local and overseas high schools attended the ceremony including the International Outstanding Teams from USA, Singapore and Mainland China. Prestigious guests from education, academia, science and technology, business as well as the movie industry were present at this event. In the Ceremony, awarded teams, distinguished guests and IM²C organizers shared their experiences and insights on the Challenge and innovative mathematical modeling. Senior movie directors and producers, Mr. Tsui Siu-ming and Mr. Tang Yat-ming made remarks on winning teams’ projects and share stories in film making with teams and the audience.
